I have a Samsung DVD-VR320 dual VHS/DVD recorder. I also have a JVC XV-N422 all-region unit which I use as an external DVD PLAYER for duping DVDs. My problem is peculiar... I can dupe anything with no trouble, BUT if I take the DVD-R I've created 9and finalized) and make a duplicate of IT, I suddenly get a really irritating audio synch problem. It's enough of an off sync to be noticable and problematic. I am using S-video for the video patch and standard Analog RCA composite red/white jacks for the audio (my Samsung recorder has digital audio out as does my JVC, but neither has digital audio IN). I realize there might be a super, super slight lag between S-video and Analog audio, but should it be THIS pronounced?!My duplicates of duplicates look almost as bad as watching a dubbed Godzilla movie!

What on earth would be the cause of this audio sync ONLY when making a dupe of a dupe? And is there any solution?
