Can DVDFabDecrypter be switched like DVD Decrypter to write ISO files? How about VOBBlanker?

Just a side note.
-----------------
Your best bet is to sue DVDFab to ripp to the hard drive then either use DVD Decrypter to make the iso or you can use the new program imgburn.

If you use DVDFab to rip, you need to use Shrink first to make the iso and then write with DVDDecrypter or ImgBurn. DVDFab only rips VTS files.

Well how would you suggest creating an ISO file of the more recent DVD's with added protection, especially from Sony/Columbia?

I looked at Shrink last night but was unable to see how to create an ISO file. Could you possibly send me a simple guide of how to do this? Thanks.

Thanks! I wasn't aware of the "Still Image" option for unwanted special feature titles.

If I follow the above correctly, I can use DVDFabDecrypter to rip to my Hard Drive, then use the "ISO image file and burn with DVD Decrypter" option on Shrink to finish it up. Hence I should be able to use DVD-9 DL discs to avoid having to re-compress the film and get a 1:1 copy.
I asked this in a seperate thread I started elsewhere (" DVD-9 1:1 copy using Shrink+DVDFab Decrypter") and was told this was not possible. Something about the files DVDFabDecrypt creates cannot be used by Shrink to make ISO images.
NOTE: Newer films, especially from Sony Pictures, have encryption that DVD Decrypter cannot deal with, which is why I need to use DVDFabD to rip them.

fargen - I will edit my post to reflect this, but I asked that specific question because DVD Decrypter cannot rip newer stuff from Sony Pictures especially. Hence, unless I want to pop for the $50 for AnyDVD I need to use DVDFabD to rip it.
Someone just responded to my original post when I mentioned this thread and said that it is possible, but the layer break creates a long pause in playback.

You might want to try PgcEdit. IMO it makes good ISO files and then you can burn with ImgBurn. Imgburn was created by the same person who created DVD Decrypter. The burning engine has been improved a few times.

Yes they are free and combined with VobBlanker, you will be amazed with what you can do.
