lol thanx janrocks, the link is now in my bookmarks list for future reference. Cause thats how me and Jan roll. lol
now about the modchip, I would reccomend first installing it (lol) then flashing it with a compatible bios, and finally grabbing the Auto Installer Deluxe disk and installing all the dashboards a apps you can want.

hey thx jan! ineeded that info but im still stuck how do u burn games ans stff and how do you mod stff liek for ex. halo sorry if im a pest but im a how do you say it a noob at this stuff

Well to be honest I don't know much about modding games...never had the time, a bit of save hacking is about my limit on that front...and I didn't have much success with that either...
As for burning, just look for the Complete Guide thread...every possible question answered..over and over again..simple rule, Good Media.(doesn't matter if it's cheap..as long as it works..I stick to anything with GO5 dye and it seems to work fine for me)

Absolutley not, the whole point of a softmod is to hack your xbox without a chip, and vice versa.

as for modding halo 1 you can dl a nice little app called HCE (halo cache editior) its great does everything for you.

and also how do u flash the bios on an xecuter 3 ce the way some people explain it is confusing .... lol
