my original karaoke dvd have 2 audio stream
which you can can stop the voice from singing for you to sing .
now after i copy it to vcd every thing work find but the audio stream is not ,i can't turn off the singer voice so that i can sing along any one know how to use this DVD2SVCD
tool ? please help ?

hmmm it might if you use something like DVDXCOPY or DVD95COPY I dont see DVD2ONE working though!

@tonydaman...you can very simply create a SVCD with 2 audio streams for your karaoke using DVD2SVCD, I've been doing it for a while. SVCD works well...I haven't tried VCD since the quality is quite poor by my standards. You can also very simply create / backup your karaoke dvd to dvd-r using DVDShrink (free). Let me know what you want to do and I'll try and help you...

I am assuming you know how to use DVD2SVCD...if you don't than you need to read the guide at http://www.doom9.org

1. Once, you've loaded the IFO file either from the DVD or from your harddisk, you will see a list of audio tracks in the "Conversion" tab. In your case of the DVD being a karaoke, there should be (2) audio tracks and the language it is in. The first track will be the music and vocal and the second track is music only (so you can sing to it).
2. You will need to select the audio index dropdown and select 2 for the second track.
3. On the "Audio" tab select the Audio language to match that of your dvd for example;
Audio 1 Priority 1 Vietnamese Audio 2 Priority 1 Vietnamese
Audio 1 Priority 2 Vietnamese Audio 2 Priority 2 Vietnamese

Please note that priority 2 is not required if there's only one language...but I select it anyway.

4. Select your desired bitrates for both Audio 1 and Audio 2. Please note that since you're encoding two audio streams this will boost up your total bitrate (Audio + Video). If your total Max bitrate is greater than that set for SVCD (2778 kbit/s) you can simply reduce the audio bitrates - if the total bitrate is not a lot greater than the Max bitrate you can just continue. However, if your standalone player doesn't like the bitrate you're encoding you simply re-encode with a lower bitrate or if you want your SVCD to be compliant than you are best to adjust your total bitrate so that it is under 2778 kbit/s.
5. Continue with whatever settings you want and kick off the encoding....
This should produce a SVCD with (2) audio channel...hope this help

@tonydaman...first of all you are creating a SVCD right? secondly, what doesn't work? Did you try to change the audio on your dvd player? If you created the SVCD properly you should be able to change the audio channel exactly the same way as you could with the DVD disc. I would not know what you've done wrong / right etc. I think it would be best if you could try and encode just a chapter and attach the DVD2SVCD log file here so I and any1 else can see what could be wrong...
