i used psp set to change my "firmware" in settings to 2.00. it was to see if i could run umds without goin through mph or runumd. didn work so i set back to 1.5. none of my homebrew would work. so i reinstalled sum as iv had 2 do b4. still nothing. so i decided to actually downgrade again except the overflow.tif isnt setting it to 1.00 i cant do it with any homebrew and when i try and update to 2.00 i cant do that either cos theres no writing iv managed to get a lil through by pressin x then right 3 times then i cant get no firther and i dont know what its tellin me. am i stuck witha useless psp????????

Amazing, second person on here this week who has fixed a PSP problem by dropping and/or hitting their PSP really hard. Gotta love a bit of good old brute force to get things done.

step 1)get frustrated

step 2)hold it to your chest.

step 3)drop it to the ground with an excel of 9.8 m/sec/sec.

should work.

if not

step 1)look like your about to throw it at a wall.

ok iv mostly sorted the problem. for some reason i cant upgrade past 1.50 dont ask why iv tried eboots and umds for multiple versions and it aint just aint hapnin. iv managed to finally after all this time fiddlin about get some homebrew to work i nearly cried when no iso loading program would work i thought i had lost "backups forever" but i finally got dax to work after renaming the folders like 50 times. i dont mind not bein able to upgrade cos i plan 2 get another psp neway for upgrading. so i guess theres not much more to do now.
