Hi gang,

First let me thank everyone for the many tips I have gotten from this forum. This is the first time I have felt the need to post and have no doubt someone here can help.

I am trying to back up Malcolm X, but it has two disc for the movie. I know there is a way with DVD Shrink to put both 'parts' on to one DVD, but for te life of me I can't fingure it out... the sad thing is I know I did it once before.

Could someone please help me out here.

I'd do it like this:
First, Shrink/reauthor the second half of the movie to a folder location on your hard drive. Once that is done put in the first DVD, select reauthor and drag the main title over to the left.

Now click the file browser icon (the small folder with the green arrow) on the right and then browse for the second half of the movie. You have to double click your way as you locate the second half.

Now drag this title over to the left.

You should end up with this on the left:

Title 1
Title 1 (2)


You may have some compression issues here, but you can mess around with this and should be able to get everything to fit.
