Hey all.Resistance fall of man looked awesome at e3 and considering it's made by insomniac (the makers of the ratchet and clank franchise)it will probably be the shizzle. But I wonder if it will be exclusive to ps3.Ratchet was.
But really I wanted to see insomniac working on a ps3 ratchet and clank which is an awesome game.Unfortunately they have said nothing about another ratchet and by working so hard on another game it leads me to believe maybe they gave up on ole ratchet. Also to my suprise there is a r&c for the psp in developement but insomniac isnt the developer!!!!!!

Ratchet and Clank has already been shown for the PS3 at the Game Developers Conference:
Immediately after showing off a new internal demo of Resistance: Fall of Man, the game formerly known as I-8, Ted Price of Insomniac used the rest of his stage time at Sony's 2006 Game Developers Conference keynote address to give a sneak peek of the next chapter in the long-running Ratchet & Clank series, currently in development for the PlayStation 3.
Also, look at their previous franchise, Spyro the Dragon. There have been many Spyro games that have camee out since the last one Insomniac made, though I will say the three Insomniac did were the best.

I'm glad cause really sly, ratchet, jak you know the platformers are the reason I like playstation.I mean can you think of a platformer on xbox that's good? I know jak is gone though.

Conker was a half decent platformer on Xbox i thought (bit of humour, childish though it was)even if it was an N64 port essentially - but it can't compare to ratchet. Seriously, if a game can get you hooked on collecting bolts, then it must be the sh*t lol.

Lol I know.I love it and think the next one (ps3)will be awesome.I can't really think of a weak point in ratchet.Graphics, animation, descent story line, and a whole sh#@ load of weapons. What more do I need?

Some magazines had a bitch about the sound (music and otherwise) of the game but i always thought it was pretty good regardless. By the way did anyone else think Jak:2 (basically the rival game to Ratchet on the same platform) was insanely difficult for a platformer? I hate that mission where you have to transport all those guys in your alliance. Pain in the ass!

I liked the sounds of ratchet. They always stuck with their guns and never changed it.Lol lots of folks thought jak 2 was hard as hell. But what amazes me is that so was jak 3 maybe not as much but still.

Yeah. The first one was a breeze compared to the last two games thats for sure. Ratchet always kept the same formula but buit on it and made it better. Good series, lets hope it hasn't ended. I wonder if Naughty Dog will move on from Jak like they did with Crash?

There will be a ratchet for ps3 and a new jak as well. The info was announced at e306.Naughty dog didn't make the first few crash's they just licensed it from rare(the makers of conker). So naghty dog developed jak as a...well you know.

Ahh - you know far more than me. I really have to keep an eye on E3. What do ya reckon of that game thats like Max Payne? Has Chow yun Fat in it... Stranglehold thats it. That was a highlight at E3 according to gamepro. Although it seems to be only on 360 atm.

Yeah Duke Nukem was good fun. What's Alan Wake? Rockstars next film noir style game? Let's hope Max Payne isn't over - he was a top character! Kind of like some of the tough dpressing unshaven type of charcters Bruce Willis played in Last Action Hero and Die Hard lol... Only they couldn't move in bullet time.

I know a duke nukem has been in developement for like 5 years it's called :duke nukem forever.(I sound like a nerd lol but this knowledge accumulates over time beleive me, I don't go from site to site looking for any new news)
Yeah I havent heard any news about a new max payne which is why I think it's dead.Remember duke nukem, alan wake, max payne are all developed by the same company 3d realms so I think it's dead or it would be at e306.But it was one of my favs even back before I got em free.I hope they make another it's like a classic to me.
Yo I gotta go.Be back later sometime .See ya.

Yeah that is strange... Is it for PC only? I'd be worried if it was meant for PS2 or something like that, because now the PS2 has pretty much run it's course (seen it's best days). If it's for PC though then it should still come out. Not sure which Duke it was (maybe 3?) but it had some real nice cartoon graphics and you were in this building that was like a garden - was a bloody hard game!

I'm not sure what system's it's for anymore. When they showed those trailers at e3 2001 everyone assumed it was for the current generation consoles. It looked great though way back then like something ahead of it's time.

Duke Nukem Forever is pretty much a standing joke in the games industry for projects way behind schedule. I think development started on it in 1997 after Duke3D using the Quake engine, then they switched to the Unreal Engine, or something like that. It has won the Wired Vaporware of the Year at least 3 times, if not more. Many have started calling it Duke Nukem Whenever.
