I have a brand new Sony Info Lithium battery which is running fine with my camcorder. Today when I plug it in my friend's camcorder, there was an error massage in the display that says "non info lithium battery" and the camera shut itself down immediately.
The battery is about a month old. Should I return it back to Sony since it is running fine with my camcorder. Any idea what info the camera is scanning during the startup to ensure the battery is appropriate? Thanks.
