Recently whenever I hit the "Backup!" button, it freezes up my entire computer. I can't even move my mouse. Anybody else having this?

Have you tried removing and then reinstalling? A system restore might work as well...If you have Win XP.

I had a friends PC do the same thing and a reinstall fixed it.

try defrag and scandisk. Then uninstall dvdshrink and reinstall it. Did it today and solved the same issue.
