I have Swap Magic 3.6 and I have a PNY Attache USB Drive. I create a folder named "SWAPMAGIC" on the USB drive. In the folder, I renamed "HDLoader.elf" to "SWAPMAGIC.ELF" (and also tried "SMBOOT0" and then pressing Up + L1), I put the USB drive into my PS2, reseted from standby with Swap Magic in, and after the light flashes (showing activity) on the USB, Swap Magic freezes. I tried this after formatting the drive to FAT and FAT32, but still nothing. I used the DVD version of Swap Magic.

It's Festivus for the rest of us!

If you looked in the files on the swapmagic disk didn't you notice a few things...crazytaxi.elf.. and the way the disk is printed not burned...

It's freezing because it's failing the media check that looks for a printed disk...the hdd most certainly isn't a printed disk..what else can I say..you need to re-think the approach.
