problem with gameshark v4 disk

I was having a problem with trying to back up my gameshark v4 disk. The disk is damaged but i can save the contents of the disk to the computer but can't do anything with it. I have a lot of game codes on it and don't want to lose it. i've tried everything i can think of please help.

Is your PS2 modified? You should be able to copy the disc using alcohol 120%

yes i have a mod chip i can't get alcohol to work on my computer. if i could get alcohol to run from a friends computer what would i need to do?

If alcohol doesn't work (I've heard a lot of problems with alcohol) get UltraISO and see if you can create an image from the CD, if you can then just use any program to burn the image file onto another CD (e.g. Nero)

Well hopefully if you can save the contents of the disc, you'll be able to create an image. Otherwise if you can't, then I guess you can try building an ISO file from the files and burn it onto a CD, that MIGHT work...

i think ultraiso is working it hasn't quit yet so i'm gonna go from there and see what happens. thanks alot for the help i don't know what i would have done without your help. thanks again dan
