hi guys i need some help and was hoping one of you guys can help me.

i made some home movies as mpegs then used VSO DivxToDVD to make it DVD files. then used nero to burn them to a DVD. when i put the DVD in my computer it plays back fine using power DVD to watch it. however when i put it in my DVD player (stand alone) it says playback feature not enabled and won't play. i have a sanyo DVD-7200 VCR/DVD combo (not sure if it helps)

if anyone has a solution please post it i'd appreciate it. thanks.

also i did a search through the forums and didn't find anything so forgive me if this problem was posted

What brand of discs did you use? What was your burn speed? Can you post your Nero log?

The Nero log can be found at these locations:

Nero 6 can be found at: program files>ahead>Nero>NeroHistory.txt
Nero 7 can be found at: program files>Nero>Nero 7>Core>NeroHistory.txt

Post only the burn that has problems and be sure to edit out your serial number.

Another couple of questions, are the discs -R or +R? Does your burner allow booktyping?

The log should be there.

Booktyping is a method to make +R discs more compatable with stand alone players.

Here is a link for a guide:

Since your using discs rated at 16X, I think you could up your burn speed to at least 8X without any new problems.
