I notice alot of people in here are English and I was wondering what you think your chances are in the World Cup. I like your chances of getting to the final eight. I'm in Canada and was born in Ireland so you can see I root for two teams that barely ever make it there.

England! Walcoot is good (im a gunner, thats why i say, lol).

Thye have great chaances. What a midfield:
Gerrad, Lampard, J.Cole, Beckham

Defence:
Cole, Terry, Ferdinand, Campbell...thats a might field.

@ bombayboy:

I wave a Barcelona shirt in front of your face !! LoL

England could obviously do with Rooney or Owen being fit at some point , Walcott is unproven @ premiership level .. even though he is really quick.
Midfield is as good as anyone in the world imho , and that includes the Brazilian squad.

Anyway in conclusion , we (England) should get through to quarter finals at least :-)

I'm not laying any money on any team at the bookies personally , but might have a punt on T.Henry being top goal scorer

Get rid of this from your signature mate , most distracting !!

Also I'm no Barcelona fan (lmao) .. you should be able to guess why I'm winding you up about losing champions league final ; )

As for Walcott playing for England.. it's a huge risk. I hope I am wrong, however, the kid has never played a minutes' top-flight football with Arsenal, let alone England.

We can win the world cup, with or without Rain Wooney, but whether we will or not is a different story. IMO, Sven doesn't have the manegerial passion or desire to drive us through, especially with him leaving afterwards!

come on England - give us something to cheer about!

I think England has a good chance :) with the player list they have regardless.

I myself will be baracking for Australia and would be happy not to lose a match in the group that we are in :)

I also have half my foot baracking for Iran, well being the place of my parents nationality b4 Australia :)

But i would love to see a Brazil Vs Italy final, which i heard might happen b4 the final depending on how the results go.
