How can i combine double sided dvd to 4.7 gig??

I was wondering if someone can tell me how to combine a double sided dvd to a single 4.7 gig dvd. I want to burn goodfellas onto one dvd but it's double sided. I ripped the files onto hard drive and made the compression to the .vob files to fit on 1 dvd already but i don't know how to combine the 2 IFO so it only acts as one.
