my ps2 is not working i thought it was the yellow port cause it was loose so i soldered the three pins bk in but it still wont work.

my mp2 before i soldered it i had to bend the wire down for the ps2 light to come on.

please help with this problem.

try posting an image vertically above the console to give us more info
if u know so good about soldering then check-up all the power connections starting from the external power supply

also check the silver ribbon cable from the on/eject button to make sure it is plugged in on both sides.

dont worry my soldering was gd it was my power pack lol

but i have got another problem my ps2 keeps on making a funny noise everytime i go to play the disc
