Unlocking Old Nokia 6310i Problems

I'm hoping to unlock my old nokia 6310i, which is on a UK network, Orange, so that I may use it with US T-mobile. All websites that I've tried have given the wrong codes, which makes me think that I've used up all 5 attempts that I've heard you have. It might only have been 4 though, so could anybody give me the correct code for the unlocking? The serial number is 351487202813832.

I also just bought a Cingular pre-pay, but I have had the same problem, having tried about 10 times to do it. Again, any ideas? Not the end of the world if it doesn't work - I'll just return the phone. It's a 6010, and the IMEI is 01070200298935.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Does the phone have an IMEI number or is it just an ESN number?

Remove sim first,power on the phone.
After the phone boots up, press #
Press * 3 times fast for (p)
Press * 4 times fast for (w)
Press * 2 times fast for (+)
Verify code before pressing the last #.
"Phone restrictions off", it's unlocked!!(No Private Messages Please)

What I wrote as the serial number above is in fact the IMEI, having looked at the inside. Thanks for your concern, Ben.
