Does anybody here can help me out on a problem I have.I did get a playstation 2 game and I put in the game system the playstation 2 game system and all I keep getting is I need to put a format disc and that is it no game but that same crap need to put a format disc in.Does anybody can if they can please tell me why does this do this

Is it a original game or backup? And I assume that you're talking about the red screen of death. If its an original, its in bad condition or your laser is dirty or getting worn out.

Try it with a ps1 game and see if you get the same thing. If it works you will know that it is a problem with the DVD laser.
