That's not your manufacturer.
Via is a chipset, not a mobo maker.
However....an AGP slot looks like the brown slot in this pic:
http://www.benchmark.co.yu/tests/mainboards/asus/a7ve/agp.jpg
PCI slots are the white ones. Note that PCI has two little slots that make up 1 big one. AGP is all one slot. PCI-e is 2 very small slots that go together to make 1 slot.
How that helps.

TomMelee, agp is not always 1 big slot as can be 2 & maybe 3 slots. i'm looking at an agp videocard right now that has 2 notches in it for 3 slots.

Yep.
Two notches is a 3.3v AGP card. One notch is 1.5v. There is also AGP Pro which requires the additional connection tab at the front of the card. Mobos will usually have that area either taped off, or a pin you must remove to use that model card.

make & model # is printed on the motherboard itself, either in between or near the white pci slots. might say asus or some other name.

i cant find it dude
but i think i dont have 2x, coz there only weak video cards on 2x agp's
i have FX5700LE 256MB, sort of week, so i dont know
and the card i wanna buy radeon X850XT says 4x/8x video card
so i guess that means this card is gonna fit in 4x and 8x
and by the way i have 512mb memory right now, and i wanna buy 1gb more (just 1 card, not 2x512) so i wanna ask can i have 1.5gb ram with
athlon 64 2800+, with my agp motherboard or something like that
or it doesnt matter.

You have and ECS MB. Now you need to do your homework and go to thier website and look fot the info on the memory slots and what type and size chips it supports, and whether or not you can mix different size chips or such. Tocool4u has already given you a good tool to use to find some info( Sisoft Sandra) and Google tells you the maker. You just can't go buy a gob of memory and slam it into a slot. Wrongly configured memoey may cause your system to fail to boot at worse, or it may just slow down etc, etc. Check the MB manual to see exactly what chips have to go in which slots. There are a ton of MB that will not support chips larger than 512meg in a single slot, so check the manual b4 you spend your money.
