my suggestion is not helpful at all.
Send the cheap-o chip back to where you got it and get a beter quality one before you go installing that modbo chip.
You like many others before you will probably be sorry you didn't spend the money and get a quality chip.

Hi I had a look on the modbo2 website, do I use the 520 or 745 diagrammes

and as for the chip the PS2 is not for me so I don't realy care that much about features and also I got 5 of them for about $20 AUD delivered.
so I can't complain

Can I suggest that you have a bit of patience as not everyone stays here 24-7 answering questions :)

Judging by how you said you paid $20AUD, I'm assuming you are based in Aus, which means you would have a PAL console. The diagram for modbo v2.1: http://www.covetime.com/modshop/images/Modbo%20PAL-V7.jpg

Please use the search function before you post... this was the first result when you do a search in Google :)

not all versions of ps2 use up all the points on a chip. the diagram shows everything.

if i remember correctly, the SX point is for the ps1 game.
