hey guys, I just purchased and installed a modbo 2.0 chip into my v12 ps2 and also installed the comsoft v4. when I plugged in the ps2 it went to standby, and I tryed to turn it on and it wouldnt turn on at
all. So I took it apart and check all the wires and found that the reset wire had came off so I resoldered and reconnected everything. This time when I went to plug in, nothing happened, no power or nothing.
now I have a fuse diagram, and I took electronics, but dont remember what to use on a multimeter to test the fuses for continuity.
any help? if my fuses happen to be fine, what do you think is the problem here?

thanks
ender

okay guys, update..

well, I decided to experiment, and took the ps2 apart, and desoldered the reset from the board and put everything back together. plugged it in. YES, standby. I try to power it on.. YES it powers on. then, I see this blue flashing led where the vents are, and the ps2 powers off. which is telling me the comsoft fix is working, but its only supposed to do that when the ps2 has the lid open, and it does it every time I power on the ps2
whats going on?

update 2,

okay so I resoldered the reset point and it wouldnt turn on again, so I actually took that wire off and replaced it with a fresh one. and I am back at square one, where I get to standby, but cannot power the ps2..

You check for continuity using the smallest ohms setting. While in there check all the modchip connections in the same way to make sure that none have bridged.
