how do you play divx/xivd movies on a ps2 ? I have a v12 with a DMS4 Pro S.E

you can use a program called Divx2DVD and it can convert it.
Then you burn it.

I've been trying to play my XviD movies as well. I've done a lot of research on how I can do this, but I haven't found any guides on it.

I downloaded PS2 Reality Media Player and want to know how I can put the program on a USB pen drive so I can put it on my memory card so I will be able to play .avi movies without having to burn a special CD every time. Please help, Thanks in Advance.

You copy the program from your PC to USB, pretty straight forward I hope...

Use uLaunchELF for this, you can access the MC and USB devices with it and so you can copy programs from USB to MC. You'll need a modchip with DEV1 mode in order to access programs in the MC too

I forgot to mention that I have a MI Green dot chip, so I will have to burn uLaunchElf on a CD first in order to read the ELF files on the USB pen drive and to transfer them?

I suppose you can't launch any files from the USB pen drive without this program?

Yep, once you get that on a MC you can boot it using MI's DEV1 mode, have a search for instruction on how to do this (look in the MI website) as I don't have it on hand at the moment. But http://www.sksapps.com/ has all the programs you need :)
