Try ripping with DVDFab Decrypter and then proceed with DVD Shrink as usual. DVD Shrink hasn't been updated in about a year, so it can no longer handle the enctyptions on newer releases.

lol - may not need to take up bird watching just yet :)
So you ripped with dvd decrypter then tried to open those files in shrink? Are you getting a message something like 'can't find the specified file?
Try ripping with dvdfab decrypter(free) then open those files in shrink.
See how that goes.

Imgburn is only the burn engine of DVD Decrypter. What error message are you getting with the new files created by DVDFab Decrypter when you open DVD Shrink?

Do you mean you can't find it on your hard drive?
When your ripped w/ decrypter did you create a folder to save the movie?

If you didn't pick/create a folder DVD Decrypter normally saves to your hard drive looking something like this:
C:\THE_POLAR_EXPRE\VIDEO_TS\
It's not a temp file - it will stay on your hard drive until you delete it. Then if you use Shrink -you open the video_ts folder. Shrink will also leave the file on your hard drive. You have to manually delete it too.
Did you change DVD Decrypter to rip in iso mode by chance? If you did then you would need to look for an .iso file. You would open this in Shrink thru File>open disc image.
How much space do you have left on your hard drive?

I have a sempton 3000 processor running a gig of ram, and a freecom dvd burner they are fabulous but just of late have let me down, DVD Decrypter told me there were suspect structures with "fun with dick and jane" shame i really wanted a copy of that movie as my own might get damaged taking it to work

technos1,
Do a search of the computer and search for either .vob or .iso files. If you ripped it w/ DVDD in file mode then the files are in the C: directory
If you ripped the files in iso using DVDD then you have to tell Shrink to " Open Disk Image" and then the files should be seen. The files also should be on the C: directory as there should be 2 files if your system is using NTFS. If using Fat32 then there might be 8 files w/ them in .001 .....
Fun W/ Dick and Jane needs to after the rip in file mode be run through VobBlanker to correct the structure then use Shrink
