Hi Folks...
Im not exactly sure that this is in the right forum, but its a great place to start.
When I rip (smartripper) compress (DVD2One) and burn (doesnt matter what i use), most dvd-r's seem to come out great, but for the last 5 attempts on backups, I get a ever so small glitch on the dvd when movie sceens turn really bright (like a fast horizontal hold change), lasts for about a 3/4 of a second, but its only noticable with the standalone player (tried quite a few different ones), not when I play the dvd player in the pc.
Ive done a little reading on this and found out that most pc players, both hardware and software based pretty much ignore/bypass the small glitches & errors that a standalone player would show. They play awsomely in the pc player, not a single glitch.
Might anyone have any ideas why Im getting these glitches now?
I havent installed any new software on the pc I use strickly for backing up my movies? That machine just has the OS, smartripper, dvd decrypter, dvd2one and nero. I defrag it before I do new movie each and every time. Up until last week, I had no issues at all, now, for some unknown reason, im getting glitchs. My mind is boggled.. Any Ideas?!?
