HI
could someone please help with this problem.
ive downloaded a movie and converted it so as it can play in my standalone dvd player with winavi then burned it with nero. However while watching it, it starts off fine then the picture freezes over but the audio continues, ive found out that after i convert with winavi it splits into three vob files and at the point where one files stops and the next one starts thats where im getting the problem.ive tried everything and spent hours trying to fix this,trying other converters and joiners.

When that happens, it's usually one of two things (sometimes both). Using crappy media (ie CMC MAG) or burning too fast. In case of the first, get some quality media. I recommend Taiyo Yuden (available online), or Sony, Verbatim, Fuji (made in Japan of course). In the case of the second, never burn faster than 1/2 the rated speed of your media (4x works great for me even on 16x media).

Try using avi2dvd for the conversion and then DVD Decrypter for burning to disk.
