Do modchips fix your xbox? like if you had an error code of 21, and you install a modchip, does the xbox work again and can i FTP to it?

yes, but there are also other ways of fixing error 21 and also, there are other steps you have to take with mod chips before they work like flashing the bios, which is easy to do!
