i have a ver odd modchip i dont know which one it is though.
but the thing is when ever i want to play a game i have to insert the game and restart the ps2 everytime i desire to play a different game. is this common in all of the modchips or are there modchips in which u don have to restart the ps2 and in which the game automaticaly plays. Is there a way through which i can findout which modchip i am using?

Is there any logo of the chip when your PS2 boots up? Otherwise open up the PS2 and have a look. Most new chips boot automatically without having to restart the PS2 now

no there is no sign of any logo though but i'll try opening and having look but can you just name a good not very cheap and not very expensive modchip which has this function of loading discs without restarting..

Almost all new chips have auto boot, but I'd go with matrix infinity or DMS4, its worth that extra bit of money
