Is there some hardware or anything that can be used to connect a flash (thumb) drive to a PSP on the go and stream movies from it?

well, ur idea IS possible. u just need a USB host controller (i think thats it) ^_^ . once u get that, u can d/l the movies to it, and watch it on there.
