Playing video/game UMDs on a 1.5 psp???

i have a white version 2.0 psp (JAP) downgraded to 1.5 but am now having problems playing video umds and umd games which support only 2.6 or above.

The latest game (UMD not ISO) i am trying to play is football manager handheld and i cant get it to work even using run umd or 2.6 genesis. Everytime i go to play these games it just tells me to upgrade to 2.6 or crashes using the software. I dont want to upgrade as doing this as i will lose the feature of playing isos of my memory stick. Is there any software to help run video umds in the video section of the psp on a 1.5 aswell that only support 2.6

Can anyone help with my problem.

You could also try PSPset or any other app that changes the version of your software in the flash. (Have your PSP plugged in when you use these apps). It tricks games/movies into thinking your FW version is higher than it is and it might just work.
