If its an image file use either Nero to burn the image to disc or use DVD Decrypter to burn the image to the disc.

I want to make copys of my dvds. So the first one I tried was my daughter's peter pan movie. It copied all files with no problems. So I thought the next step would be to change the mode to ISO Write because when I do that the picture changes to a drive with an arrow pointing to a disc. But the thing is it says please select a file but it wont let me select the peter pan file that it just uploaded. I click on the peter pan folder and it opens up to a flie called VIDEO_TS when I open that there is nothing. I can change the file type to "all files" and it shows the 39 of the things it copied. Example VTS_10_1. but it wont let me select any of those because it says invalid or unsupported image file. So I dont know if I need another program to burn that file on a disk or if Im just retarded. If any of you can help I would be very thankful.

thanks Locoeng. I finally got around to try the software out today. I followed that guide step by step and it worked perfectly. I tried it out on my newest dvd, which I figured would have the most copy prevention on it, and it worked fine. Thanks again very much.

It takes longer because you are compressing more content. The lower your compression ratio the higher your encoding time will be. If you just want the menu to select the chapters, you can insert a still image in the special features to increase your compression ratio and increase your quality, you can also still remove all audio except AC3 5.1 and any/all subtitles you don't want or need to free up more space.

You can backup games, but I've yet to do one. There is a subforum here at AD on PS2's, you should pose your question there. Something you should know first about the PS2's is that you have to have a mod chip for the copied games to work....I think.

I'm a new user to DVD Decrypter and am having a similar problem to badfish64. I was able to convert a movie into a file on my hard drive but when launching DVD Shrink to read that file, it cannot find the contents. When opening the file independently, it shows the .VOB files as copied over. I then repeated the procedure but this time copying All and not just the main movie+IFOs. This time, DVD Shrink found all the extras but not main movie!! What am I doing wrong??
