PSP emulator for software version 2.60

Ive just got a psp from china version 2.6 and have a load of games but cannot load them onto the memory stick. Im a bit naiive - do i need to download an emulator and if so how do I do that? thanks

you need to down grade to firmware version 1.5

you CANNOT downgrade a 2.6 to 1.5. You can only downgrade 2.0 to 1.5. You can't play any commercial iso's (retail games) on a 2.6 but you can run homebrew (homemade games and utilities). Sorry buddy but you'll have to wait for the modchip

Thanks - my brother gave me some dvds with a stack of games which I need to load onto the memory stick. Does this need an emulator or is this what is called PSPins? If so - how the heck do I get them onto the stick and playable?
