hi

just new to this forum, so hope someone can help me. ive got a jap psp that has some strange faulty

1 - the psp wont power on from the battery, ive tried brand new batteries and all that happens is the power light flickers, but if you plug mains in it will power on fine.

2 - when the psp in on if you put a umd in, as soon as u close the umd door on back the psp crashes and turns off, but if you reset the psp (hold power button on for 15 seconds) before u put umd in it works fine and will do so until the mains lead is removed then it needs reset again.

there is no damage at all to the psp and it has never been opened (all seals are still intact)

this is starting to really do my head in, can anyone help??

Faulty motherboard?? Return it to where you got it from..

yeh could be a faulty motherboard.

but also could be a power problem

but i dont know if it can be fixed
