If your look for pre orders of ps3's go to sam goody, not the web site go to a store(use store locator on their site,though)
as some of you may know Sam Goody has had troubles and many have closed
so most of the stores i call are getting upwards of 20 and they have started pre orders
i live around philly and the closest Sam Goody was in NJ
but the 45min trip was worth it because now i have 3, yes 3, 60gig PS3's reserved 4 me and i can get them on Nov 17
o yeah theres no limit to how many you can get
so if you missed Game X crazy like i did check them out
$50 deposit for each

I would not trust Sam Goody for anything in the world.They have a very bad habbit of giving away pre-order to first come first served.Even if you did pre-order, if your not in line soon enough the first people who got there pre-order will get theirs before you.Meaning your on the waiting list to next shippment if you do get there in time.I live this trust me and a few freinds of mines also.

@smayco i'm pretty sure no one is preordering i've checked both internet sites SAM GOODEY, gs and ebgames and a couple more places all are waiting till september.

to dr.cool you have to call them it dosent say on their web site and to pre order you have to go to the store they told me no over the phone

Just rent games like im doing GAMEFLY.com like 19.99 a month for two games at a time.Its only few games i will buy MetalGearSolid, Heavenly Sword,Madden,Gran Tour HD. The rest i will rent and test before i buy.

I just got several pre orders from a Sam Goody. But when I looked at the receipt, it said "Do Not Use." Who else has pre ordered from Sam Goody? What was the sku that they used for yours?

probably should go back to the store to ask about your receipts. find out what model(s) they put you in for, and what exactly is their procedure for handling preorders. i would want to know atleast how they handled preroders when it came to the 360, as that to had different packages... you could also try sending smacyo137 a pm, considering (s)he was the person who started this thread from their experience(think they may know best of all). i happend to preorder mine from F.Y.E. and i requested that i get the 60gig model....on my receipt it says the amount put down along with the desired model.
