I have heard that you can install a regular IDE HD for the PS2. All I want to do is to be able to save my saved game files on the hard drive instead of the memory card. I DO NOT want to save the actual game, just the saved game files. Does anyone know how this can be done?

if you get a hard drive YOU DO want to save the actual games on it. It will be much easier to use the hard drive instead of the discs. This will keep your discs in perfect condition
plus the load times for the game will be much faster
if you just want game save get a 32MB or 64MB maxmemory card
