So does this exploit allow you to play backups PSX games on the PS2? Does that include backup import games as well?

Can someone lead me to a good guide? I don't have a HDD or anything either. Just a Slide Tool, swap discs, and a bunch of blank CDs.

I tried searching around the forums but I couldn't find any clear anwsers.

That site doesn't say. Can I get a yes or no answer? Does it play PSX backups?

EDIT - Nevermind I found out. To play PSX backups you need to have a v9+ PS2.

im playing backups on my slim following a guide somewhere here on this forum, & my ps2 is a v14.

what u do is boot SMS elf first(simple media player, avail here ht tp://sksapps.com/index.php?page=media.html - i just copied it to my usb drive & launched it via swapmagic)

in sms player change for any psx ORIGINAL cd via eject button.. dont use slide tool.

swap it for your ps1 backup using the slide tool.

press start, go to 'boot to browser.'

you will be in the ps2's usual browser with ps1 cd listed (but its really the backup. select it to start it.
