Are you sure you didn't accidentally remove all the audio tracks when using DVD Shrink? Open the burned DVD with DVD Shrink and see what audio streams are present. Are you using a standalone DVD player for playback?

I did not remove anything. It was not necessary.

Open the burned DVD with DVD Shrink and verify the audio streams. Click on one of the main titles and then click the "play arrow" on the preview/player. Is there sound playing back?

so there is sound on your PC but not on your home DVD player? If that is the case check your sound settings on the DVD player. I have come across some older movies that only have 2ch sound that do not play right when the DVD player is set up for 6ch sound. Options vary depending on brand and model of your dvd player.

When you press the "Audio" button on the DVD player's remote, do all of the audio tracks appear in succession and is there no sound for any of them? What format did DVD Shrink ID for the audio streams? AC3 2CH English? Any others.

I assume you've tried other DVDs in the player and they play OK?

After checking all my DVD players, I discovered that there is no sound during previews. There is sound for main movie. On the PC, there is sound for both previews & main movie.

lyn729 what was the movie? that had no sound in the previews? the only movie that did that lately with me was a new world it had no sound in the previews but had sound for the movie, another thing most software won't burn a movie if there is no audio stream so you must of some how turned it off.

The movie is Firewall. I checked via DVD Shrink & did not notice where any audio streams were off.

Firewall isn't available to most until this coming week. It has some new copy protection on it and perhaps that is causing the problem. If so, there should be some more updates forthcoming from AnyDVD and DVDFab Decrypter.

I have had the same problem with the movie "Monty Python's Life of Brian" although i did not rip the entire movie, I reauthored and ripped only certain scenes of the movie but there was no sound. I did the same with a few other movies and had no problems. The only problem was with Life of Brian.
