Please be patient. This is my very first time of ever doing something like this. Unfortunately, I am completely ignorant when it comes to computers.

I was using Nero 7 Ultra Edition and DVD Shrink to copy DVD's, and having no problem. Unfortunately, I had major computer problems and had to erase everything on my computer and reload everything. Even though I think I'm doing everything exactly as I did before, I am not able to copy DVD's. Now when I click on "open files" in DVD Shrink, instead of having the name of the DVD come up like it used to, the highlighted title that comes up is RNDONNM1 (E:). When I click on this I get the following message. "DVD Shrink encountered an error and cannot continue. Failed to read E:\ Data error (cyclic reduncy check).

Can someone please help me out! I would really appreciate it.

Those CRC errors could mean a couple of things. A scratched disk or more likely, copy protection. DVD Shrink hasn't been updated in quite a while, and most likely won't be updated any more. Try the following.

1. Rip it to Hard Disk using DVDFab Decrypter (http://www.dvdidle.com/free.htm)
2. Process through VobBlanker (http://jsoto.posunplugged.com/vobblanker.htm)
3. Reauthor with DVD Shrink
4. Burn with ImgBurn (http://www.imgburn.com)
