I want to back-up PS2 games and some movies.

From what I understand, Quality Media is the same for both, but -R is best for PS2 and +R is best for movies ??? Pls correct me if I'm wrong!!

I need to buy some DVDs relatively quickly. Can I buy one for both purposes ?? Pls keep in mind that I want the best quality and I have no problem buying two diffent DVD Rs if I need to !! I have a stack of memorex that I'm not even going to bother with because I only want the best quality (Taiyo Yuden, Verbatim etc.).

Sorry if I did not post this thread in the right place?!?!

-R's will do just fine for both. The advantage for +R's is that (if your burner supports it), they can be book-typed to DVD-ROM offering greater compatibility with stand alone DVD players.
