I've recenlty got a psp version 1.5 and my question is this,i purchased 5 pre owned films for my psp,rush hour,cheaper by the dozen,hostage ,28 days later and 2 fast 2furious.Out of the five 2 (rush hour & hostage)dont work(says i need to update).is there any info out there that will tell me which umd films will play on my 1.5 ok ,so i know which films i can and cant watch...many thanks...mart.

Try using RunUMD (download from here:http://www.psp-hacks.com/file/404 )

You also need an X folder in the root of your memory stick (download that from here:http://eternal-psp.vze.com/dl.htm ).

If that doesn't work, for some older UMDs you can use the WAB Version Changer (to trick the PSP into thinking that your fw version is 2.00), download it from here: http://www.psp-hacks.com/file/77

WARNING: The program writes to flash, so it could brick your PSP, to reduce the chances of this from happening plug in your AC adapter before you run it.
