FSTFIX images?

When you fstfix a gamecube image, what will the difference be if you just type fstfix "imagename" without any parameters compared to typing fstfix "imagename" f s t?

When I first used this program I tried it without any parameters and it just made another image of the same size. I just use the f parameter with the image name to make an image which will boot off a mini DVD-R.
