Help Splitting Large DVD TO Smaller Files

Hey I have Godfather the game that Ive been playing and the only way to play it is by mounting the images. However the file that I have is a 3.38 Gigabyte MDF file. Im starting to run out of room and want to move the game to a DVD so I can still mount it off the DVD. I have tried Nero and it tells me it cant because the file is to big. If any1 knows a way I can do this please let me know I would be greatly appreciative. Been trying to do this for a few days now and cant. Please let me know if there is any program that can safely change the DVD into smaller files or if there is a program that will let me burn it.
