I want to know if there is way to view video_TS and audio_TS without first burning to a dvd and playing on a dvd player. I want to check and see if the files actually work, and not waste what little 8.5 dl discs i have on messed up files.

DVD Shrink has a preview window. Once you rip the files to your HD, open them with Shrink and check the preview before burning. You do NOT need to actually Shrink the files to just view them. Then shrink your files (or not) and burn with your favorite package once you are satisified with the output.

I think Power DVD will play files from the _TS folders.

Probably several other software packages will work as well.

Hey i do have Power DVD(i think it comes with Nero right?). Well its looks like the file is good and all, but i have two questions.

First is i used the trial verion for WinAVI and when i was previewing it and it seems it put a sort of watermark in the middle of the screen >.< Is there some "way" to remove this or would i just have to get the full version of WinAVI and convert again?

Second question if i do get a answer on removing the seal blocking my video, is there a way to use that DVD Shrink to "shrink" the video_TS to make it small enough to fit on DL discs. Right now the file size is 14.5 :S Even though i converted to AVI files with "lower" quality.

I have never used WinAVI but I would suspect the way to remove the watermark is to 'upgrade'. Maybe someone else would know another way.

What type of files are in the _TS folders? If they are the usual .VOB files and such like you get when ripping a dvd to HD, then Shrink should work. Try it without actually burning to disk, make another set of _TS folders as the output and check the size.

If the files are in .AVI format, then I would not know.

use Nero 7

find the VOB you want to play, and watch it.. right click, open with..., Nero Showtime

but the VOB files will be split up into .99GB pieces, so u will have to close and reopen the next file every 20 min or so

I tried something in Windows media player along time ago, by using the player and opening the files from there. It plays, but it is really buggy and annoying, stick to nero
