Otay then....so when's Halo 3 coming out, and what's gonna happen when the MC gets to earth? Did anyone watch the video game awards? They showed a bunch of footage from Halo 2 during the show, but most of it *wasn't even in the game* you know, like when the MC is fixin to stick the elites with the plasma grenade after they all drop down and activate their energy swords? They showed all of that as "halo 2".....I want to know why NONE OF IT WAS IN THE GAME?!?

Neph, did I hit a nerve with the 'mothers basement' thing? Im sorry, I agree with you, what I said before wasnt intentionally personel. The stuff in the E3 footage was a pre-made video (they reveal it on the extra halo 2 disk) although some of the cut-scenes and dialogue made it into the game. The dropping covenant idea was mainly used in the format of dropping weapons in the game (as youo know) and did anyone notice that the final elite pose was that of the avartars? Most likley there were other future spoilers there. Comments? Thoughts? Comrads! Lend me your beers!

also, I am sure that a continuation of halo 2 will be available shortly after chritmas, most of the public souces say so anyway...

...Arguments like this? Ive tried to resolve the problem but it takes two. Im not gonna get into a...a transatlantic argument over the web! Its crap like this that is preventing users to get to the info they want on halo 3. Remember that? Just stop, this has gotten out of hand.

What I think is the offical halo story.
Master Chief is really a monkey, he wears the suit so noone laughs at him. Cortana is real, but uses a hologram so she can change the fact that really she looks like Rosanne. The elites all work at the circus where master chief ran from, theyre pissed at him for running away, and nicked a few photon guns to use him as tart practice.
Halo is really a big advertisement polo's/lifesaver's
and the message is "eat too many of these and it will end humanity"

maybe Im in the matrix!!
I dont think that halo 3 exists, but I think that halo 2 WAS chopped to have it available for release on time, I mean waiting 3 years then getting more delays would have really pissed people off.
So I think any existing video downloads etc, were simply chopped off halo 2, and are not halo 3
I firmly and totally believe that halo 3 (the game at least) DOESNT exist at all, no way, no how.

dude, I'm totally agreeing with that. I think they mightv started programming Halo 3 for the Xbox 2, but are no where near done. However, there HAS to be a Halo 2.5 or something. Maybe they'll have like a 3 level download in Feb. which will finish the game.

its me T-spartan again
Do any of you think that in halo3 you will be able to play as other covenant. I would like to play as a brute or maybe even a hunter since their canons are off the hook. I definately think that you should be able to pilot a pelagan or a phantom in halo 3 especially in multiplayer transporting your team mates in a pelagan or phantom is a great idea. Just imagine blowing one out of the sky and you and your team have to parachute jump out before it crashes.
