@OHThatGuy:

It can be done with Replay Media Catcher:

http://applian.com/replay-media-catcher/demo.php

I used to have the full version via adamryan, but don't have it anymore.
I'm sure he will share it with you when you ask him.

Good luck!

I'm a newbie here looking for some help grabbing a Brightcove-hosted file. I know downloaders don't work - Brightcove is a pain in the butt - and I'm not super familiar with source code.

I tried looking at the cache file, no help there...maybe the correct .swf file is there and my limited technical knowledge can't tell which one it is. Anyway, I found this forum and wondered if someone here could help, maybe even teach me how to nab these little buggers myself. Thanks so much!

Hi I would like to ask for some help in getting the video from the following link:

http://www.scai.org/Courses/Curriculum/PresentationLaunch.aspx?u=d17f7312-fe00-412d-9cb8-c76c2802cb33

I've tried various methods such as replay media catcher, wm recorder, streamtransport, file2hd, and download helper in firefox, but all to no avail. I found the following link

http://www.scai.org/resources/courses/Module 1/Unit_1-1/player.html

in the source page of the above link and it plays if you paste it into the address bar but I am still unable to record.

Any help would be much appreciated thank you.

and what works better than streamtransport if that doesn't work is the firefox plugin firebug (sorry if that's already been discussed here)

Hi. Great tips here, great friends. Can someone please explain to me why I cannot anymore to get/download the audio files I used to with the FF addon called UnPlug v 2.00. My browser is FF 3.0.4 (i know, i know..) The site has many motivational speeches at http://www.insight.org/broadcast/library.html or at http://www.insightforliving.com/3/ArchivePlayer.asp?id=1012039&date=12/22/2008 . Forgot to mention I tried in vain DownThemAll or D.Embedded too, as neither this sees any audio file (mp3 i think) . Thank you ALL for help/suggestions.And work!

Hi,

I've tried my hardest to try and save the swf video here

http://www.derby.ac.uk/graduation/watch-live/ceremony-5-saturday-22-january

I've gone into page info/media tab and saved the embedded swf file, but it won't play when I try and open it. Any solutions out there - thanks in advance!

Hi adamryan,

I'm trying to download the video on this page:

http://www.jnjbrasil.com.br/listerine/default.asp?area=5#param

It uses javascript to load the file in http://www.jnjbrasil.com.br/listerine/swf/videoCampanhaBoca.swf passing the variable idCampanha=1.

I've tried to look the hex code of this swf, but I could not find the real video source.

Is there a way to download this video?

Thanks in advance!
