I have a question for all of you. What kind of program did the makers of GrandTheftAuto or Fifa use/will to make games for ps2 or later for ps3?

Or do they have special programers to make special Game making programs (for that company).

i think they all got there own programs for the graphix and codes etc. except there is software u can use to make very simple games.

Console makers supply game developers with "development kits" - hardware/software platforms in which to program/develop games.

THANX thats one of the questions I had for a LONG time.

I just have one more...I am planing on making (or trying)to make an MMORPG game (thats not the hard thing)The hard thing is to get those "servers" and Bandwitch I am a total noob at this so if u know anything about MMOG PLZ share it with us.

Ya guys no1 knows anything... PLZ i am serious about this DOUSE any1 know how to publish a game and how. I am trying to make an MMORPG game (Iknow nothing) the game should be like runescape but a diferent type of game play.

Game programming and game development is not easy and is usually a full-time endeavor. You also need to study. If you are serious about this take a look:
