PS2 memory card compatibillity in PS3?

I don't understand, can you plug a ps2 memory card in the multimedia card slot? If not, how you play ( continue ) your ps2 games on the ps3? :S

I remember seeeing in PSM magazine last year where the PS3 would be using Memory Sticks, the same as the PSP, and if you play a PS1/PS2 game it supposed to treat that as a memory card. There isn't supposed to be any standard memory card slots. I haven't seen anything about how to get existing saves off your card to the Memory Stick Duo though. I would guess they would have some kind of adapter that you could buy or some way to get the saves over. Of course that info was from last year so take it with a grain of salt since the hardware hasn't been completely finalized yet.

i dont know about a psp memory stick cause u can just sync your psp to your ps3

I bet you can use code breaker and a usb flash drive. If the PS3 will have the PS2 chipset it should run codebreaker.

The easiest solution would probably be a USB cable from your PS2 to the PS3, since both will have USB ports. Hopefully the PS3 would be able to read the cards in the PS2 and load the contents onto the hard drive.

How can you make the memory card fit into the multimedia card slot?

Like the above poster says : Connect USB to PS3 and PS2 then it will transfer data from each other. I read rumors about it but those are just rumors.

Same with using Max action and you save your game data to your pc then save it to the Max usb memory card and then plug into your PS3 console usb port.

Yeah , nothing been comfirmed yet.
