I always use the setup wizard in EAC to configure LAME choosing the option to use r3mix's settings. When I look in Compression Options at additional command line options it says this:

%l--alt-preset 128%l%h--alt-preset standard%h %s %d

I was wondering if that is the same thing as using just --r3mix?

If not, what is the difference?

The complex commandline attributes give you --alr-preset standrd if you are using high quality selction (in the same menu) and 128kbps ABR files if you have selected low quality.

--alt-preset standard is improved from the old --r3mix preset and provides higher quality.

The old school is back. All hail the new http://BitBurners.com !
