Was using my Sony 500 ax to rip. At 2x it took 46 minutes for HP2. Per Shooey et al, I bought a Liteon 166S. It ripped HP2 in 14 minutes. Thanks guys and gals. Purchased it at EBuyer (US) for about $37. Also used Nero 5.10.20 with Firmware 2c to write at 4x on Verbatim +R 4X media. XP Home, 933MHTz,P3.

I noticed during the decoding process with DVD2one that my 933MHtz,CPU,P3, with 512ram, was operating at 95-100% for most of the time. I have a 2.53Mhtz,P4, with 1GIG Ram coming. I think it might even rip faster. I'll post something when I get it.

Make sure you are using ASPI v4.60 Build 1021, it may help you speed it up, oh and also latest IDE drivers for your mainboard!
