I'm reluctant to name the product as no way do I want this to look like a product-bashing thing (but it's not Nero which is why I'm not over at that forum).
Burned a compilation of mpeg2's onto Traxdata DL disc at lowest available speed (x2.4). The program said 'disc burned correctly'. All the menus and thumbnails show correctly.
With the disc in my Sony 710 if I try to play any clip that begins after the layer change (as seen from the empty/used space bar at the time of compiling the disc) the Sony hangs for a long while then says 'disc is dirty'.
On my pc the behaviour is the same with WMediaPlayer: it refuses the same clips and hangs.
BUT - both VLC and Zoom Players play all the clips correctly.
This problem does not arise on single-layer discs.

I have been on the products' forum for several days and they are flummoxed.

With the limited amount of info I've given does this look like a disc-compatability problem or something deeper?
