Trouble with modding (matrix infinity, ps2 v16)

Hi there, I'm in BIG trouble with a pstwo slim v16.

I hope someone can help me out.




Here's what happended:

1. Installed matrix infinity modchip on a pstwo v16.

2. Then, when installed, on bootup a short blink on screen and

then black screen.

3. Checked all wires, but couldn't find anything wrong.

4. Removed modchip and wires, checked mainboard many times for

short circuits.

5. Now, without modchip, still black screen on bootup.




OK, so here's what happens now on bootup: (without modchip)

-Led on power knob turns green.
-Main fan goes on.
-Short blink on TV-screen, then black screen.
-Laser unit seems to be completely dead, the laser diode doesn't blink, the cart motor doesn't move the cart, nothing.

Can someone tell me what's happening?

You've probably killed your PS2... I'd pay someone to fix it, doesn't seem like something you'll be able to sort out yourself :(
