Sooooo I've ripped a couple of movies onto my hard drive with DVD Shrink. The thing is, I don't have a DVD burner, so I was hoping to just get my files over to a friend's computer so I can burn them. Is there any way to reduce the size of these files so I can fit them on a CD as data? Or maybe to email them or something? And hopefully not reduce picture quality too much? Maybe this is a stupid question, I don't know, but I'd really appreciate any advice anyone could give.

You're not going to be able to reduce the size that much without gravely reducing quality. What I would recommend is to either use a external hard drive or else, you can get a good DVD burner for $60 nowadays.

another way if you can is to set up the 2 computers beside one another and connect them via cable and run the file and settings transfer wizard located Start>Accessories>System Tools

or

if you're up to it you could remove your hard drive and slave it to your friend's and then burn them from his drive

Yeah there is even another way of doing it which in my mind is the easiest. All you would have to do is take your freinds DVD burner out and put it in your computer.Wouldnt even have to take yours out,jus do as my freind jus said in the last one make one slave and one master. Laters Man Peace
